I completed the CIBTAC Beauty and Body Therapy course from 2009-2011. Upon completion of my second year exams, I secured a job as a Spa Therapist in Kilronan Castle Estate & Spa. Within one year I was promoted to the position of Deputy Spa Manager of one of the biggest spas in the country, with over twenty therapists to manage. I gained a great deal of experience during my time at Kilronan Castle, Estate & Spa but I was always eager to move into education. In 2014, I was headhunted for a position with VOYA, an organic skin care company based in the west of Ireland. I worked as a Regional Sales Manager and International Trainer, with my work taking me across Europe, America and Asia. I am now pursuing a new challenge and have my own business as a Makeup Artist based in Carrick on Shannon. As you can see, with this qualification, the opportunities are endless. The support, quality of education and practical training provided by my tutors was nothing short of amazing and has stood greatly to me over the years. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in a career in the beauty industry as it gives you a very strong foundation for a successful career.
