Entry Level

QQI Level 5 Childcare and Education or equivalent. Equal consideration will be given to mature applicants (those aged over 23) who do not meet these entry requirements but work in the sector. Students will need to undergo the Garda Vetting process.

Career Opportunities and Progression

Learners who successfully complete the Level 6 (6M2007) Early Childhood Care & Education with Special Needs Assisting Major Award will have many specialised opportunities available to them. These include Special Needs Assisting or in a supervisory role.
